It is the morning after my 47th birthday, and…
This week’s topic
52. The road less travelled
By pursuing creative vocations, are we on the road less travelled? And is it very often the fate of creative people to travel alone?
I’ll say it again. It is just downright hard, sometimes, to live.
“Creative spirits travel offbeat pilgrim paths. The more intrepid you are, the lonelier you can feel.”

Noticeboard
Ladies and Gentlemen,
next week sees the final installment – page 53 – of Suki’s serialised autobiography (Part I) A SMALL LIFE. The print version (Cinnamon Press 2012) signed by Suki is available for £6 post-free worldwide here – or you can get it on Amazon.
If you don’t like using Pay Pal, email me for our postal address and send a cheque, on receipt of which I will post you a copy.
Suki says “don’t bother buying it; after all, you can it online”. Suki would be just as happy if you persuaded someone else to subscribe, ready for the imminent start of TWO SMALL LIVES. But it’s my job to have the business head and help her make a living.
Faithfully yours
